“Do something today that your future self will thank you for”
– Sean Patrick Flanery
Fitness has always played a key role in Simon’s life from playing football (soccer), cycling and climbing mountains, but his passion for the gym came later in life and he is a coach who understands first hand the importance of training as the years start to creep up on us! Simon tends to use a blend of hypertrophy and strength training, his patience and caring nature gets the best out of his clients. Simon is a firm believer that fitness is not just about seeing physical changes but plays a huge part in improving one’s mental health and wellbeing.

My aim is to always ensure that a client leaves the gym feeling better than when they walked in, be that physically or mentally. I strive to listen to my clients and to adapt sessions and programmes to not only their goals but to also how they are feeling in themselves on that day. I have a passion for helping people to realise their potential. My personal favourite approach is hypertrophy training as I know it can produce results in an enjoyable format.

3 fun facts
- I use to pretend that I had gone to the gym in truth I had been too intimidated to go inside. It is why I believe that the hardest part is accomplished by stepping through the gym door.
- I have a slight obsession with chocolate bourbon biscuits and will finish a whole pack in one go!
- I built my own show car and gained a habit of buying wheels (there might still be some I own stored in the UK!)

PT Client Reviews
“I feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with Simon. Due to my spinal issues I have had times in my life where I literally couldn’t stand up straight but since training with Simon ( which is quite a few years now) I haven’t had ANY relapses and feel stronger in my late 40’s than ever in my life. Simon is extremely knowledgeable, is always coming up with new ways to train AND he makes our session fun! Simply put… 5 stars I cannot recommend Simon highly enough.”
“Simon is dedicated, knowledgeable & friendly!
Despite having good intentions, I’ve always been exercise adverse, considering it ‘too hard.’ Since training with Simon, he has totally flipped this attitude. Simon has made exercising a safe and rewarding experience for me – with his encouraging and personable manner. Simon fosters a genuine sense of care and motivation with his clients, through ongoing support and real conversation, listening to how his clients’ lives are and tailoring programs based on their confidence, energy and stress levels – whereby designing programs that are achievable yet challenge the boundaries to the right level. He’s a very skilful, imaginative and considered trainer! Would highly recommend Simon as a brilliant PT for all levels”
“Simon has been training me for a couple of years now. He is very knowledgeable about the body and what I need to be working on to make sure that I‘m achieving my goals – adjusting my workouts when required. He’s very easy going and the sessions are always full of laughs, and he takes an interest in his clients lives. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to try to take the next step in their fitness.”
“I appreciate that Simon listens a lot and can work with limitations (like my flat feet) to make sure exercises feel challenging but not harmful. I enjoy Simon’s emotional intelligence, for example knowing when I’m having a hard day and not pushing me too hard when I’m not in that head space, instead saying encouraging things like “sometimes just getting into the gym is an achievement’’ I also just enjoy Simon’s company and sense of humour, which is important when you see someone multiple times a week. I love that as a result of training with Simon, I am now comfortable enough to come into the gym and workout by myself.”
