How long are the Sauna sessions?
You can book in for a 30-minute sauna session.
What hours is the Sauna open?
You can book the sauna from midday to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Can non-members of the gym book the Sauna?
Yes, both members and non-members of Fitness Playground gyms can book into our infrared saunas.
How many Saunas do you have? Can a friend and I book for the same time?
Yes, we have 2 infrared saunas next to each other.
How do I access the Sauna?
Only staff access keys can open the sauna doors. If there isn’t a staff member on ground floor reception, pop up to the level 1 office.
Are your Saunas well cleaned?
Yes, there’s a 15-min buffer between each sauna timeslot so we can clean the sauna after use. For hygiene reasons, you must always wear a swimming costume or other clothing, and must sit on the provided towel, avoiding contact with the timber bench.
Do I need to bring anything?
Wear a swimming costume or a covering you’ll feel comfortable wearing in the sauna. Anything else you bring can be secured in our free lockers. Ensure you bring a water bottle – you will lose a lot of fluid during your session and it’s advised you drink at least 750ml of water to rehydrate.
Are Infrared Saunas safe?
Yes, Sunlighten Infrared Saunas have been proven safe. They are FDA approved, meaning they are safe to use provided safety precautions are followed. If you are pregnant or have a health condition, consult your healthcare practitioner before booking the sauna.
