Burlyflexx - 8 Week Neo-Burlesque Course

Welcome to the dazzling world of Burlesque with 'Burlyflexx'! Led by the mesmerising performer, Lou P Scarlett, this electrifying 8-week program is designed to ignite your confidence and celebrate your unique sensuality. Whether you are a seasoned performer or this is your first time delving into the world of burlesque this course is designed to teach you both the fundamental of burlesque and extend your performing prowess. Neo-Burlesque fuses the traditional elements of classic burlesque with modern styles of dancing, music and pop culture. This course will teach you the core moves of Burlesque; the bump grind, shimmy, shake and strut. You’ll learn the power of stage presence, character development and costume creation and incorporate all you learn in a fierce modern strip-tease routine. This group routine will be performed in your final week at One Playground for Lou P and fellow students and, if you choose to do so, you will have the opportunity to also perform on stage at The Vanguard, at the end of the 8-week programme. This group routine will be performed in your final week at One Playground for Lou P and fellow students and, if you choose to do so, you will have the opportunity to also perform on stage at The Vanguard, at the end of the 8-week programme.
