Burlyflexx - 8 Week Neo-Burlesque Course

Welcome to the dazzling world of Burlesque with 'Burlyflexx'! Led by the mesmerising performer, Lou P Scarlett, this electrifying 8-week program is designed to ignite your confidence and celebrate your unique sensuality. Whether you are a seasoned performer or this is your first time delving into the world of burlesque this course is designed to teach you both the fundamental of burlesque and extend your performing prowess. Neo-Burlesque fuses the traditional elements of classic burlesque with modern styles of dancing, music and pop culture. This course will teach you the core moves of Burlesque; the bump grind, shimmy, shake and strut. You’ll learn the power of stage presence, character development and costume creation and incorporate all you learn in a fierce modern strip-tease routine. This group routine will be performed in your final week at One Playground for Lou P and fellow students and, if you choose to do so, you will have the opportunity to also perform on stage at The Vanguard, at the end of the 8-week programme. This course will teach you the core moves of burlesque; the bump grind, shimmy, shake and strut. You’ll learn the power of stage presence, character development and costume creation and incorporate all you learn in a sensual strip-tease inspired by the burlesque legends and methods of the past. This group routine will be performed in your final week at One Playground for Lou P and fellow students and, if you choose to do so, you will have the opportunity to also perform on stage at The Vanguard, at the end of the 8-week programme. Glow For Good Event with Feel Good Project

You’re invited to join the upcoming Glow For Good event in collaboration with the Feel Good Project - Australia’s first not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to bringing high-quality hair and beauty services to people doing it tough. For one special evening, the Feel Good Project team will be offering treatments to help you feel your best, including blow-dries, nail manicures and mini facial treatments. The evening will also feature a rejuvenating 45-minute movement session combining Yoga, Pilates, active stretch and meditation, designed to leave you feeling refreshed and reconnected. You’ll hear from founders Aleks & Jax, alongside someone whose life has been directly impacted by Feel Good Project, as they share the powerful difference the organisation is making within the community. Enjoy light refreshments throughout the event, with raffle prizes and giveaways helping raise vital funds for the Feel Good Project.
